1/4 cup olive oil
12 ounces white mushrooms, halved (quartered if large)
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1/4 teaspoon red-pepper flakes (addded more if you want it specier)
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar, salt, and red-pepper flakes, and season with pepper. Cook 1 minute more. Transfer to a bowl, and serve.
*We never run out of mushrooms in our house. We always incorporate mushrooms in every way possible. I rarely use balsamic vinegar and if I do I usually use for salads and so when I saw the recipe why not give it a try. And we loved it and I hope you will too. enJOY!!!
